Thoughts

the game defcon is one of the most haunting games i have played in many a day. its simple abstract reprentation of the world and military. the slow and ghostly music, the coughs of people in the war room and crying of people who just cannot take what they're seeing. and finally of course the slow arcs of the nuclear weapons.. blast zones and deathtoll readouts as each city is hit. playing this in a crowded room and reading out the hits is an interesting thing to see reactions.

its a game released on the steam platform. is very simple but well made. its basically risk but in the modern age. it counts down the defcon levels from 5 to 1, letting you do more actions until nukes are allowed.
